How Credits Work

Prompt Assistant uses a simple credit system:

  • 1 credit = 1 prompt improvement
  • Credits are consumed when you click "Improve Prompt"
  • Skill detection (Auto-detect) is free
  • Viewing history and favorites is free

Note: Credits are based on improvements, not on prompt length or tokens. A short prompt costs the same as a long one.

Checking Your Credits

View your remaining credits in several ways:

  • Right-click menu bar icon - Shows credits at the top of the menu
  • Settings > Account - Full credit details with renewal date
  • After each improvement - Updated count shown in the response

Upgrading to Pro

  1. Open Settings > Account
  2. Click "Upgrade" on the credits card
  3. Complete payment through Paddle (our payment provider)
  4. Your account is upgraded instantly

Secure Payments: All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We never see or store your payment details.

Managing Your Subscription

Viewing Status

Go to Settings > Account to see:

  • Current plan (Free or Pro)
  • Subscription status (Active, Trialing, Canceled)
  • Next renewal date
  • Credits remaining

Updating Payment

  1. Click "Manage Subscription" in Settings
  2. You'll be redirected to the Paddle customer portal
  3. Update payment method or billing info

Canceling

  1. Go to Settings > Account
  2. Click "Manage Subscription"
  3. Select "Cancel Subscription" in the Paddle portal
  4. You keep Pro features until the end of your billing period

  • Pro is billed monthly

Invoices

Paddle sends receipts automatically to your email. Access past invoices through the Paddle customer portal.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I run out of credits?

Free users: You'll need to wait until next month or upgrade to Pro for unlimited prompts. Pro users: You have unlimited credits, so you'll never run out.

Do unused credits roll over?

No, free credits don't roll over. However, Pro subscribers have unlimited credits so this isn't relevant.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@oshn-ai.com within 14 days of purchase. See our Refund Policy for details.

Is there a free trial for Pro?

The free tier with 50 prompts serves as your trial. You can fully evaluate the app before deciding to upgrade.

Can I share my subscription?

Subscriptions are for individual use. Each person needs their own account and subscription.
